Wilmar Volunteer Fire Auxiliary

Who We Are

The Wilmar Volunteer Fire Auxiliary serves over 14 square miles and 1,100 parcels of suburban, rural, and agricultural land. Our department is comprised of over 40 dedicated and professional Volunteer Firefighters and support staff who serve the community.

Our firefighters respond to over 500 emergency incidents each year.  Medical emergencies make up the majority of our emergency responses.  Our personnel also respond to structure and wildland fires, hazardous materials incidents, rescues, vehicle accidents, and requests for mutual aid to our surrounding departments and across the State of California during fire season.

Our mission is now an all-risk one involving responses to structure fires, wildland fires, vehicle fires, auto accidents, medical emergencies, and many other types of calls for service.
